Nomadic State Of Mind
Nomadic State of Mind, founded by Chris Anderson in the late 1990s, is a grassroots handmade sandal company. Operating initially from a 1969 VW bus, which also served as Chris' summer home, the company has excelled in crafting hand-made sandals for over 16 years. Starting by teaching a Nicaraguan coffee community the art of sandal-making, we continue to produce the rope in North Carolina. Their commitment to sustainability is evident as we repurpose scraps into unique rope art, including bags, rugs, and water bottle carriers.
